How do you sum up a personality in a few words? You can't. Our son Aaron was 17 years old,in the last week of his junior year. He was a bright, vibrant young high school student. He made us laugh. He was in love. He was creative and eclectic. He loved history and science, he was a thinker, he was witty and made people laugh. He was a peacemaker. He enjoyed musical theatre and classic cars. He wanted to help people, and had been helping us since he was a little boy in our ministry, "The Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge." His future was bright. Aaron could have been anything he wanted. But all that ended one day in the blink of an eye. In an instant, a RED traffic light was ignored, and our son was gone. Aaron and his dad were rebuilding his 1973 VW bug. Aaron was also rebuilding a motorcycle with our friend James, as well as, learning how to rebuild computers. He was an active intelligent person. The last conversation I had with my son was one we had repeated hundreds of times. I would say, "Be Careful!" He would say, "I'm a good driver, Mom"; which he was. Aaron was returning home form a doctors appointment. He stopped at the light at Reno and Morgan in Oklahoma City. A driver who reported that; "she was taking her sister to the hospital because her son had been transported there, saw the light turn yellow, and gunned her vehicle". She actually went through the light, according to the police, a full three seconds after it had turned RED. She struck (T-boned) Aaron's car coming from his left. He was killed instantly. Remeber, RED MEANS STOP! See you soon little buddy!
