Amanda left us suddenly on the morning of November 14, 2010. She was hit in the drivers door by a car going 70 miles an hour. She died instantly.
Amanda was a warm caring soul with a smile that could light up a room, who loved life, her family, and her friends. She enjoyed music, cooking, and had a tremendous love for animals. She was considered by many of her friends to be the one they could turn to for support, no matter the problem. She was always there for them. She was fascinated by the weather. She loved storms, which was what she wanted to do with her life. She wanted to be a meteorologist. She took it upon herself to change high schools her sophomore year to expand her options in science.
Amanda was a perfect daughter, loving and helpful, and a wonderful big sister to her younger sister and brother. We love her and miss her every minute of every day and will forever. Our hearts are broken but we know her beautiful spirit is with us. That she will remain with us always. (“I love you, Manda.” Mom)
