  • Age: 18
  • Metairie, LA
  • St.Phillip Neri, Grace King

Andrew was our first born. He was a born weighing 9 pounds and 4 ounces and practically came out walking and talking. He had a special relationship with his Grand parents and even had a tattoo placed on his arm in memory of his “GG” (Granny Gator). In his younger years he loved playing video games and comic books. He loved sports. He wrestled in high school. He was particularly fond of baseball. He played a variety of positions but was great as a catcher. He also played pitcher from time to time including on the last team he played which won their age bracket championship at the local playground.
Andy left behind his two sisters. He was older than both of them and very protective of them. Andy had an infectious smile that made your heart warm. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Andrew died at the age of 18 and left behind his parents, sisters, grand parents and a number of Aunts, uncles and cousins who remember him always.
As Andy’s Mother, my heart will never be the same after losing my precious Andres.
