Drew, better known as "Bill" to his classmates, was born on February 26th of 1989. He was 10 lbs. and 1/2 oz and 21 inches long at birth and born with the biggest brown eyes I have ever seen. Drew was adopted and raised by his grandparents, Linda & Larry Hiroms, who loved and adored him. He has 2 brothers, Parker Hiroms and Dillon Thurman, and an adoring sister, Dixie Thurman. Drew loved his 2 little cousins, Maddison and Morgan McVey, and I am sure would shower the latest addition to the cousins with plenty of hugs and kisses, Wren Darter. He has 2 doting aunts, Danielle McVey and her husband Russell, and Christy Darter and her husband Kevin. Drew also has many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and extended family who loved and adored him. Drew graduated high school from Doyline High School in Doyline, Louisiana. Drew was working in Lake Charles with his great-uncle Aubrey Freeman when he decided to come home for the Labor Day weekend. It was storming in most of the southern Louisiana area as a hurricane was trying to make landfall the Friday evening he decided to travel. Drew crossed the middle line and was hit dead on by a semi truck. Details are not known as to why he had crossed the line. Drew was called home on Friday, August 29th, 2008.
