Anthony Briffa, 19, of Brick, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011, in Brick. Born in Brooklyn, he moved to Brick in 1998. He was an I.T. technician with Ocean Partnership for Children. Anthony was an altar server and eucharistic minister at St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church, where he was a longtime parishioner. He enjoyed playing Lacrosse, loved working with computers and was an avid jogger who enjoyed running throughout the town of Brick. He is survived by his parents, David J. and Toni Frances (Bovona) Briffa of Brick; his paternal grandparents, Rosemarie and Charlie Briffa of Toms River; his great-grandfather, Salvatore Giudice and his wife Ann of Brooklyn; one brother, Vincent; a sister, Maria, both of Brick; one step-sister, Stacey Drago of Wantaugh, NJ; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends. Anthony was one of the finest people…a kind, caring and wonderful person who was loved by all.
