Benjamin Lynn Mast's life was taken from his loved ones on May 5, 2010 in the result of an automobile accident. He was a passenger in the back seat of a car and was thrown from the vehicle and died instantly. His best friend, Cody DeVaan, 16, also a passenger was thrown from the vehicle and also died. Ben was a sophmore in high school. He attended school in Benson, Minnesota. Ben had many interests in his life. The most obvious was his love and passion for hunting and fishing. His goal in life was to become a DNR. He was very active in wrestling and football and collected sports cards, coins, and loved to play XBox. At the age of 13, Ben received his Young American Eagle Pilot's License in Elkhart, Indiana. He was very proud of getting this license. He loved to ride his 3-wheeler and his new snowmobile. He also enjoyed woodworking and carpentry projects. He enjoyed gaming with his best friends and they would spend countless hours at each others houses. Ben's love for his family and friends was very obvious. He absolutely adored his niece and nephews. He was always playing with them and making them laugh. He had a great sense of humor, and loved to play practical jokes on his brothers, family members and his friends. His family and friends were very important in his life, his heart was always so big and his arms were always wide open for hugs. Benjamin is missed and loved by so many people. We all know in our hearts we will meet up with him again someday. We know you are here with us and we love you and miss you so much. Benjamin is survived by his mom, Becky, dad, Joe, brothers Joey and Nathan and sister Kristi. Niece, McKaya, nephews, Bryce, Branson, James and Karter. Grandmother Delores, Grandfather, Amos and many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. WE LOVE YOU BEN!!!
