Blake was born December 27, 1990. He was killed instantly on November 28, 2007 in a violent car crash less than a month away from his 17th birthday.
He is survived by a younger sister who was 9 years old at the time and who adored her big brother.
Blake excelled in school and anything else he did in life. He was in in National Honor Society and was working towards a college degree while finishing the last two years of high school. He was very smart yet so well-rounded and fun to be with. He was handsome, with a perfect body and had EVERYTHING going for him, including high goals to reach. He had an incredible zest for life and remained cheerful and up-beat no matter what. I have yet to meet a more mature young person than Blake had been. He was like an “old soul.” Nor have I met a better human being in my life than Blake. He was my favorite person in the world and we shared a close relationship.
On Blake’s MySpace profile, he wrote this: “I care alot about people in general. Helping someone and making their day is the greatest feeling in the world.”
He was so good to everyone – so kind, compassionate, giving and caring no matter what he, himself, was going through. He seemed to have gotten it right at age 16, more so than those many times his age.
I miss him with every fiber of my being and always will – until we are together again.
