Born in Columbia, SC on February 18, 1992, and lived in Lexington, SC from February 1992 until November 1998. He has 1 older brother and 1 older sister, 1 niece. Knew both sets of grandparents well and knew 1 great grandmother quite well and had several aunts, uncles, cousins and so many friends that he thought of as family. He was active in the ROTC program for a few years and received numerous awards and ribbons. He also played on the Golf team and played football, where he lettered in both. He graduated from North High School on May 29, 2010. At the time of his accident he was attending Orangeburg – Calhoun Technical College. He was killed instantly on September 2, 2010. He was speeding and the only one in the car and hit a tree, no other vehicles involved. I have learned some awesome things about Brent since his passing and know without a shadow of a doubt that he is flying now with other Angels. He loved God and had no problem in others knowing it. God doesn’t make mistakes, even though Brent did and should not have been speeding, but I know in my heart that it was time for him to go. He left more than his mark on my heart and on the hearts of those that knew him. May we all remember the kind of relationship that we all had with him and learn from it.
