Eli is my youngest son, age 19 & 3 weeks. He loved to play golf & was on the Nimitz High Golf Team in Houston, Tx for 2 years. He was tall with blonde hair & the deepest blue eyes you've ever seen. Such a sweet & handsome son. I am so proud of him! He was in his first year of college and was looking into being a meterologist on TV. He certainly had the looks for it! He drove a black Honda car & was in the "Honda Car Club" at Nimitz High. He & I had just taken a trip to Louisiana to a modeling show & there were agents there who were picking the best of the teens for modeling so he could pay some of his way through college. About a week after he died, I got a call that an agent wanted to sign him up to model but I had to tell them that he had passed on into Heaven before I was ready to let him go. My 2 sons were my whole life and when he died he took 1/2 of my heart with him. His older brother, Timothy was 21 at the time. He missed Eli so much that he started Cullinary Arts so he could study to be a Chef and open up a restaurant and name it after Eli. It was only 2 short years and then my sweet Tim was also taken to Heaven way before I wanted him to go also so his restaurant never made it to open.
At Eli's funeral there must have been 200 kids from Nimitz High School, maybe more as he was so loved by all who knew him. There were letters, pictures, rings, and anything you could think of with him as he was buried that awful day. He is dearly missed by all of his friends, family, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, & cousins and he & Tim are the first thing I think of when I wake up and the last thing before I go to sleep at night. I hope it's not too long before I am with them again.
Thank you to all who have & will come by his website & sign his guestbook. I'll be adding more pictures later & if anyone wants to add any pictures or stories about Eli, please feel free to share your memories.
Love, Carolee – Eli's Mom (and Tim's too)
