Hunter Layland was 15 years old, a freshman at Cleburne High School. He had a scar on his face, and hearing problems from a car accident.
This didn’t stop people from teasing and bullying this poor little boy. He was constantly made fun of. Someone once told him “if I had a face like yours I’d shoot myself.”
He shot himself before school at 6:35 am.
Rest in peace Hunter. You will not be forgotten.

Hunter didnt have many friends but the ones he did have knew what great of a person he was and still is, he was the person that would say hi to anyone, anywhere at anytime just to be friendly. He had an amazing soul and big heart. Cleburne suffured a big loss that year. It really doesn’t feel like almost two years since I saw him last, saw his smile. He was my friend, and I dare someone try to bully another one of my friends. God has a place for people like that. We miss you Hunter, Cleburne High School football misses you.
R.I.P Hunter, you are greatly missed
