On November 8, 2003 my life changed forever. I am Jesse's Mom, Debra and I lost Jess to a car accident on that November day. She was the passenger in the car that her cousin was driving. Her cousin made a left turn in front of an oncoming car that she didn't see. Everyone else was treated and released that night.
Jess was involved in sports, softball, basketball and volleyball, but her love was basketball. She was a very independent, strong, determined young lady who's life was taken way too early. Jess was very popular with the student body, she was someone that you could go to with your troubles, and she stood up for those that were getting bullied. She didn't tolerate ignorance very well.
Jess's family meant everything to her. She wanted to grow up so she could take care of her brother's and sister's.
One of her biggest fears was to be forgotten, that is why I have created this site. She will always be remembered for the vibrant young lady she had grown into be.
Never forget to tell those you love just how much you love them and do not take tomorrow for granted, it may never come.
I love you Jesse you more and more everyday, Babygirl. And I miss you even more. You are with me everywhere I go, every second of every day. In my dreams I hold you close and can see your smiling face and hear the laughter in your soul. You have touched so many in your short life and I hope you know just how many you continue to touch. Love you to the moon and back!
LOVE ALWAYS, your Mom
