Kaleb went to Heaven, October 2, 2008 after his car was T-boned by a large truck at the intersection of Heardsville / Watson Rd. Kaleb was a junior at West Forsyth High School. He was on his way to school early that terrible morning to visit with his chorus teacher.
Kaleb had many interest and loved everyone he ever meet. He was known for always having a smile on his face and having apples. He excelled at Travel Baseball and loved singing in the school and church chorus. Kaleb was a true-lefty and played first base and was a pitcher. One coach affectionately called Kaleb the “Singing Pitcher”. He aspired to be in broadcasting and was to attend UGA.
We love Kaleb more than words can ever begin to say and we will forever miss him. Kaleb always looked for the good in everyone and we know that he will always be with us in spirit. He will always live within our hearts. Kaleb will forever be missed by his parents, Kenneth Ray & Vivian Payne, his sister & brother-n-law, Kristy & Toby Hamby, his nephew, Taylor Joe Hamby, along with family and so many sweet friends. We love you Kaleb and miss you more everyday.
