Shaundra was born on February 12, 1991 in Hazen, North Dakota to Deborah (Allmer) and Michael Mlekoday while her father was serving in Desert Storm. She attended school in Beulah through her sophomore year. She graduated from Bismarck Century High School January 9, 2009. She was active in volleyball, track, golf, FBLA, and Sapphire drill team. Shaundra had been attending college at Bismarck State College to eventually become a pediatrician. For the past 18 years we have all been truly blessed to have one of God's angels among us. This little angel was the feistiest, most mischevious, spontaneous, outgoing, loving, caring and giving person you could ever meet. She lived her life to the fullest and at the fastest speeds she could. Shaundra was a truly talented artist in almost all aspects. She had a beautiful voice that had the quality of an angel. In 6 months she could play piano as well as some that had been playing for years. She was also an amazing artist that could draw and paint anything she wanted to, just like her mom. She began to sing at a young age and loved to sing songs around the campfire or at family gatherings. She also liked to sing AWANA songs for Papa and eventually started to sing in front of the congregation in church. She was a blessing to anyone who got to hear her sing. Shaundra had the most beautiful smile and the prettiest eyes. She could light up the room with her smile and she was always smiling. Everyone that knew Shaundra will tell you that her smile and her eyes and her laugh are the things they will miss the most. She loved to do things on the spur of the moment. If it could be done, she did it and she did it her way. Nothing would keep her from doing what she thought was the thing to do. Shaundra joined her heavenly father in the early morning of May 24, 2009. She was a passenger in a vehicle that lost control while traveling at an excessive speed. Shaundra died at the scene of the accident.
