Words like I Love You, Football, Mom & Dad, Homework, Touchdown, Vacation, Friends, were some of the words in our Vocabulary…..Until March 9th, 2006 When our words become Blunt Force Trauma, Instant Death, Vehicular Manslaughter, Autopsy, Funeral, Our Baby Boy was gone in the blink of an eye as he sat in the back seat of a car full of Teenagers. He went to school on that morning of March 9th 2006, and that afternoon instead of the school bus he got into a car driven by an unlicensed teenager with 4 other teens. I felt like something bad was going to happen, so I called and talked to him for 15 min. while he awaited the return of the car that had dropped him off in a bad side of town, When the driver returned, I was promised they would drive Tyler straight home instead the driver passed our street up by 3 blocks, the driver was speeding in the rain, lost control hit a light pole, and in that instant My 16 yr. old son died upon impact. Out of the 5 Teens in the car Tyler was the only one to sustain an injury (Blunt Force Trauma) he Lay 3 blocks from home in the middle of a very busy road as group of concearned witnesses surrounded his body until the paramedics arrived. Was he wearing his seat belt? There was no way to tell the right rear passenger side was destroyed. This MVP Football Player, physically fit and the picture of health…He had taken such Good care of his Body, No soda, very little red meat, didnt care much for sweets, spent 3- 4 hrs. a night at the gym 4- 5 days a week. He was so full of Life, he had plans High School Football-College and then the Pros, he had picked his schools he would be appying to. He would tell me one day I'm going to be rich Mom and then you can live in my west wing and be my personal maid (Jokingly I Think) He has an Older brother Travis and Little Sister Tara and his Father and Myself, Tyler had a chocolate Labrador his name is Rio.. Our family was complete, we were Happy! No one would ever imagine Tyler Blauser would loose his life that night. The devastation and impact in our town was overwhelming, thousands attended his Funeral! Our life had been changed forever, Our Son so dearly missed by so many! Our Vocabulary has been forever changed. Rest In Peace Baby Boy, WE LOVE YOU!
